Happy Feet
National Movement Conference
July 6-8, 2007
Thanks to all the participants and faculty
who helped to our 11th Annual Conference such a success! We so
look forward to this weekend where we can fellowship with you and inspire
and be inspired by your enthusiasm. Every year, I have a personal
highlight…last year it was the piece that Andrew's group choreographed
to "Mirror" by Barlow Girls. It was a phenomenal and powerful piece
that touched not only me but the Pastor and members during the Sunday
morning service. This year Jeff and I both were incredibly blown away by our
last minute faculty member, Jodi Gramlich. Although Jeff has known
Jodi for many years he had never actually seen her perform in dance.
Her impromptu piece Sunday morning was unbelievable! Her passion and
expression drew you into the piece with her. It was awesome! I
have to say my personal highlight was watching my daughter showcase on
Saturday afternoon. She was so wonderful (and yes I can say that
honestly even if she is mine!).
Looking Forward to 2008....Two Happy Feet!
The dates for our newly formatted National Movement Ministry Conference are set! (DRUM ROLL…..) Mark your calendars for August 29, 30, 2008 for “Happy Feet 2” That’s right! We loved our 2007 theme so much that we decided to double it in 2008 and make “Two Happy Feet”. Although faculty have not yet being announced, the location is Richmond, VA again. The new format is a 2-day conference starting Friday night and finishing at 5:00pm on Saturday. The good news is a cost savings for you and the chance to enjoy your Labor Day weekend on the BEACH for one last chance to get your happy feet wet! Start making plans now to be with us in Richmond, VA, Labor Day weekend 2008!
